Restricted Games on Stake Welcome Bonus: Complete List
Claiming a welcome bonus at an online casino is exciting, but the fine print often contains crucial restrictions. At Stake casino, your welcome offer comes with a list of games that do not contribute 100% towards the wagering requirements. Understanding this list is essential to successfully converting your bonus funds into withdrawable cash. This guide provides the complete list of restricted games and a clear strategy for meeting your playthrough conditions.
Understanding Wagering Contributions
Before you start playing, you must understand how game contributions work. Not all games count equally toward clearing your bonus. While most slots contribute 100%, other game types contribute far less, and some are completely excluded. This means that if you wager $100 on a slot, the full $100 counts toward your requirement. However, if you wager $100 on a game that contributes only 10%, only $10 will be counted. This rule is in place to prevent bonus abuse on low-risk games.
The Complete List of Restricted and Low-Contribution Games
The Stake bonus terms and conditions explicitly state which games are restricted. The following table outlines the main categories and their typical contribution rates. Always check the official promo page for the most current information, as this list can be updated.
| Game Category | Contribution Percentage | Common Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Slots (Majority) | 100% | Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza |
| Table Games | 10% | Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat |
| Video Poker | 10% | All Aces, Jacks or Better |
| Live Dealer Games | 5% | Live Blackjack, Live Roulette |
| Specific Excluded Titles | 0% | Certain high-RTP or specialty games listed in terms |
Optimal Strategy for Clearing Your Bonus
To efficiently meet your wagering requirements without seeing your balance disappear, you need a smart strategy. The goal is to maximize the value of every wager you make. Based on the contribution percentages, your best approach is to focus primarily on slot games that contribute fully. Here is a step-by-step strategy:
- Read the Full Terms: Before depositing, locate the bonus terms and note the wagering multiplier (e.g., 35x) and the restricted games list.
- Stick to 100% Contribution Games: Focus your play on popular video slots. Avoid the temptation to play table games, as they will extend your playthrough time significantly.
- Manage Your Bankroll: Place smaller, calculated bets to prolong your gameplay and weather inevitable losing streaks.
- Check Your Progress: Regularly check your bonus wagering meter in your account section to track your progress toward the goal.
Common Problems and How to Avoid Them
Many players run into issues that void their bonus or lead to frustration. The most common problem is accidentally playing a restricted game, which can sometimes lead to the entire bonus and associated winnings being forfeited. Other issues include attempting to withdraw before meeting the requirements or not understanding the time limit, which is typically 7 days. Always ensure you are playing eligible games and monitor the countdown timer for your bonus.
Are There Any Exceptions?
While the standard welcome bonus has these restrictions, Stake occasionally runs promotions that change the rules. A special Stake promo code might be released for a weekend that offers free spins on normally excluded games, or a tournament that includes live dealer play. Furthermore, a Stake no deposit offer, if available, will have its own unique set of terms. Always read the specific terms for any promotion you claim, as they override the general rules.
